From a young age, Canobbio showed a keen interest in football, which led him to join the youth academy of Fénix. Canobbio’s club career began with Fénix, where he made his professional debut in a league match against Cerro on 30 August 2016. In January 2018, he joined Peñarol, one of Uruguay’s most successful clubs.
