Brazil will take 39 years old defender Dani Alves to the World Cup in Qatar. But they will leave forward Roberto Firmino behind because head coach Tite announced his squad on Monday.

Alves will be hoping his experience in football with 44 career trophies to help five-time champions Brazil win their first World Cup title since 2002.

Since joining Pumas of Mexico in July, only 12 matches have been played by the defender.

Firmino has recently enjoyed a resurgence at Liverpool with six goals in 12 Premier League games. Who was last called up by Brazil manager Tite in September? He misses the squad to make room for Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.

Vinicius Júnior, Real Madrid’s dazzling winger, is also included among the big names on this list. Even though they’re just 20, not only is he already incredible, but he’s averaging ten goals per season.

Tottenham forward Richarlison and West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta have also been selected to return to the Brazil U20 team after recovering from a leg injury and dislocated shoulder, respectively. Manchester United’s Antony was also included in the squad.

When asked about the adverse reaction on social media to Alves’ selection. Tite told a news conference: “His teammates would be mad if he weren’t one of the captains.”

When asked about not pleasing everyone, the president of the Brazilian football team. Pele, replies, “I don’t know how much of the Brazilian people they represent – I respect differing opinions, and I’m not here to convince everyone.”

There are 12 English-based Premier League players on this team’s roster and only three Brazilians.

As expected, Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho has been left out since sustaining a muscular injury in training last week.

The Brazilian boss will take four center-backs, with Juventus’ Bremer behind Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, and Eder Militao.

Brazil announces that Tite will retire after the World Cup, and they’ve already revealed they will have to hire a new manager within days.

Brazil will hold a five-day training camp in Turin, Italy, before flying to Qatar on November 19. The squad will comprise players from various clubs that have agreed to release players for the team’s training camp.

Brazil head coach Tite said he’s focused on ensuring the team does its best to win the World Cup.

After four years, Gomez has much more consistency. The team is always working at its highest levels, and people assume Brazil will be one of the favorites.

Brazil will go up against Switzerland, Cameroon, and Serbia in Group G of their World Cup 2022 campaign.
