Denzel Justus Morris Dumfries was born on 18 April 1996, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He played youth football for Smitshoek and BVV Barendrecht.
Club Career
Denzel Dumfries made his senior professional debut for Sparta Rotterdam in 2014. He played three seasons (2014-2017) for this club. He won the Eerste Divisie title with Sparta Rotterdam in 2015-16.
Dumfries joined Heerenveen in 2017 and played one season (2017-18) there.
Then he signed with PSV Eindhoven in 2018 for a €5.5 million fee. He was a pivotal player for the club. For his performance, the Dutch player was named in the Eredivisie Team of the Season in 2018-19.
