Circular Listing 'Banned Behaviors' Untrue say, Organizers

With the FIFA World Cup just around the corner, excitement is mounting among fans worldwide. But it was reported, and a Placard shared on Social Media earlier this week, that a circular had been circulated listing “banned behaviors” for spectators attending the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

However, rumors have been circulating on social media about a so-called “circular” that lists several banned behaviors for spectators at World Cup stadiums.

The Placard had shared in Arabic & English, which warned football lovers. “they have to respect the Culture, Religion, and behavior of the Qatari People.” They must avoid Drinking Alcohol, Dating, Misbehaving, Respecting the worship places, and taking strangers’ pictures without permission”.

However, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), the organization responsible for delivering the World Cup, has issued a statement saying that these reports are untrue and that no such circular exists.

In an official statement on social media, the SC said, “There is no truth to recent reports circulating concerning a so-called ‘list of banned behaviors’ for guests attending the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.”

The SC added that they are “looking forward to welcoming all fans from around the world to Qatar next year” and will release more information on their website in due course.

The tournament organizers have denied such a document’s existence, saying it is untrue. They added that spectators could enjoy the games in a safe and secure environment.

We want to remind everyone that the FIFA World Cup is a celebration of football, and we want all fans to enjoy it in a spirit of fair play and respect.

She added that while the LOC does not condone any discriminatory behavior, it would not be issuing a list of banned behaviors.

The Qatar organizing committee for the FIFA World Cup has debunked a report that listed behaviors that would be banned during the tournament.

The report, circulating on social media, listed activities such as kissing, drinking alcohol in public, and flying drones as being banned during the World Cup.

The organizing committee said that the report was “unequivocally false” and that no such bans were in place. They encouraged people to enjoy the World Cup and to “respect the laws and customs of Qatar.”

The report, published by The Guardian, claims that fans who engage in “anti-social” behavior, such as flying flags of rival nations or chanting songs that could be considered offensive, could be banned from matches.

However, FIFA has denied these claims, saying that the report is “circular” and that there is no such list of banned behaviors.

This is good news for fans worried about being banned from the World Cup 2022  for supporting their team. However, it is essential to remember that FIFA does have the right to eject any fan from a match if they are deemed to be behaving unacceptably.

Qatar’s government has also issued a statement beside the world cup organizing committee repeating its commitment to hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022. The statement comes in response to a circular circulating online, listing several behaviors that would be banned during the tournament.

The government clarified that the circular was not official and that no such bans would be in place. It also stressed that Qatar is an open and welcoming country and that everyone is welcome to enjoy the World Cup.

This rumor likely started because of the strict dress code enforced at the World Cup. While visitors are not required to wear traditional Arabic clothing, they are encouraged to dress modestly. This means no shorts or skirts above the knee, sleeveless tops, or low-cut shirts.

The FIFA World Cup is the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world, and with that comes a lot of responsibility. Organizers of the event have a duty to ensure that it runs smoothly and safely for all involved, and part of that is ensuring that spectators behave appropriately.

Recently, a circular was circulating online which listed several behaviors that would supposedly be banned during the World Cup. However, organizers have since come out to say that this circular is untrue and that there is no such ban.

Behavior at any sporting event should be respectful and considerate of those around you so as not to ruin the experience for others. With that said, enjoy the World Cup!
