The group stage draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar was held on April 1, 2022. The management held it during the 72nd FIFA Congress held in Doha, Qatar.
A total of 32 national football teams were selected for this year’s group stage participation. Although at the time of the draw 29 teams were confirmed. The vacant 3 positions were later filled with intercontinental and UEFA play-off winners.

FIFA World Cup 2022 Team Base Camps
Qatar selected 8 stadiums to host the upcoming World Cup 2022. The host committee kept transportation easy for a major concert when selecting stadiums. As a result, traveling between venues will be an easy task this time.
Additionally, every team will be staying in the same hotel and use the same base camp for training throughout the whole tournament. Which will increase their training and resting time, while making them comfortable throughout the journey.
