Mitchell Ross Marsh was born on 20 October 1991, in Attadale, Western Australia, Australia. He is the son of former cricketer and coach Geoff Marsh and brother of Shaun Marsh, a former cricketer. 

Marsh made his first-class debut for Western Australia in 2009. He became the youngest-ever player in an Australian domestic one-day game and Western Australia’s youngest debutant for 70 years.

Marsh was the captain in the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and won the tournament. He also plays for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.

International Career
